The Shift – Cancellation & Refund Policy

We value your trust and want to ensure transparency and fairness in the event of changes or cancellations. Please read the following policy carefully before registering for The Shift.

Minimum Attendance & Go/No-Go Date

  • A minimum of 10 participants is required for The Shift to take place.
  • The Go/No-Go decision date is December 1, 2025.
  • If minimum registration is not met by this date, the event will be canceled and all registered participants will receive a full refund (minus any payment processing fees).
  • Please allow 7–10 business days for refunds to be processed.

Cancellation Policy for Attendees

  • Cancellations on or before November 1, 2025: You will receive a full refund, less a small administrative fee (and any payment processing fees).
  • Cancellations after November 1, 2025: Unfortunately, refunds are not available after this date. However, your registration may be transferred to another person at no additional cost. Please contact us no later than March 1st, 2026 to make the transfer arrangements.

Event Changes or Cancellations by HCTA

In the unlikely event that HCTA must cancel or reschedule The Shift due to unforeseen circumstances (including but not limited to natural disasters, global health concerns, political instability, or other events beyond our control), registered participants will be notified promptly.

HCTA also reserves the right to make reasonable adjustments to the venue, schedule, facilitators, or program content if needed. Any such changes will be made with the goal of maintaining the overall quality and experience of The Shift.

  • If the event is canceled entirely, participants will receive a full refund of the registration fee (minus payment processing fees).
  • Please note: HCTA is not responsible for reimbursing travel-related expenses such as flights, visas, or accommodations outside the official program. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance for additional protection.

Additional Information

  • All refunds are processed in the original form of payment.
  • Payment processing fees are non-refundable.
  • By registering, you acknowledge and agree to this cancellation and refund policy.
